Catherina McAleese S.R.N

Longmead House Residential Care Home is managed by Catherina McAleese who is also the owner of the business. After training to S.R.N. level at St James’s Hospital in Balham, Catherina proudly nursed in the NHS in London for some 17 years with particular specialisation in surgery, gynaecology and diabetic care. After significant research, and the necessary hands-on experience in nursing home management, Catherina immediately recognised the opportunity presented when Longmead House was offered for sale in 1987.

In the intervening 30 years Catherina has build up an enviable reputation of exemplary service provision, dedicated leadership and the ongoing development of the highest residential home standards. In that time the business has been expanded and modernised as the true potential of Longmead has been realised.
