How to get to Longmead

Longmead House is less than 300m from the centre Surrey town of Caterham on-the-Hill and is easily reached from London, Croydon, Gatwick Airport, Guildford and has close proximity to the M25, M23 and A22 major routes.

 

By Car
Longmead House has ample visitor parking and is on the corner as Buxton Lane meets Townend and Coulsdon Road.

From the south: The house can be most easily reached from junction six of the M25 London Orbital via the northbound A22 and taking Church Hill/Townend (B2030) northbound for 1.3 miles from Caterham town centre.

From the north: Visitors are advised to take the southbound A23 through Croydon and Purley and to turn left onto Stoats Nest Road/Coulsdon Road (B2030) approximately a mile after Purley Cross. After three miles please turn left onto Banstead Road (still B2030) for some 1000m. Longmead House is on the corner as you reach the junction with Buxton Lane.

By Train
Visitors are advised to take the train to Caterham Railway Station (via East Croydon and on the Purley-Caterham branch line) and transfer to a taxi or minicab.
